Heard On Rumor wire......New Cuts At KHA; Walmart Dissatisfied

In rumors that have reached me from both within and without KHA there are at least some new job cuts. Additionally there are rumors circulating that more and more Walmart is diverting work to other firms because of the quality of service it is receiving from KHA. If you are currently employed on a Walmart team....pay very very close attention to any more slowdowns....Considering KHA' corporate policy toward severance or any other transition help it may be time to jump ship. The job market is slow....and searching now may provide you with the soft landing you will need in this horrible economy. GOOD LUCK!!!!

Not surprised. Maybe this time they should go after the people that caused the whole mess in the first place-management. If they had been doing their job instead of buying new vehicles, going on expensive vacations trips, standing around having pissing contests between each other and telling employees that they need to kiss more ass to get ahead maybe some KHA offices wouldn't be rutterless ships floundering around in rough seas. Some managers like to shift the blame onto their employees to get the spotlight off themselves. These people are only scrambling to keep their jobs and should be let go. A lot of long time, loyal, dedicated and experienced employees were let go because of their age and their saleries. You can't cut corners and expect to survive. KHA should have kept the experience dedicated employees and cut back the younger inexperienced staff. Well KHA, your now suffering from your short sightedness by the loss of your best client.

Have info on a few more lay-offs, three (3) in Jax. office, at least one (1) in PSL. Anyone know of others????

What I dont get is why not shift people to other offices such as Cali where they have work than just laying them off? For the record from what I know its been around 11 folks from Dec 07 to April 08 and then 6 folks in June 08- July 08 in the LV office.

There have been layoffs in California in the last few months despite the fact that there is work and others have been shifted in from other states. Looks like the layoffs have only been in San Diego and the Bay Area though.
